Horrible Happenings 2009

March – WASTED WORLD, the new Horrible Science book about global warming and other planet-wide perils is published this month to great acclaim!

Nick performs sell-out Horrible Science show for the Minimondi Festival in Parma, Italy.

Nick performs MY HORRIBLE LIFE lecture to sell-out audience in Plymouth, Devon.

June – Nick at launch of Appledore Book Festival with a test of a new version of the Great Panjandrum featured in Evil Inventions. The event gains international publicity and TV coverage – over 100,000 people watch the film of the test on YOUTUBE.

July – EVIL INVENTIONS is amongst the Horrible Science books appearing in new edition this month. New editions of Horrible Science books have been published throughout the year with new covers, updated foul facts and an evil index at the end.

September – HORRIBLE SCIENCE OF YOU! Published this month and becomes an instant bestseller.

Nick launches the HORRIBLE SCIENCE OF YOU! At a sell-out special Horrible Science event at the British Festival of Science in Guildford, Surrey.

September/October – The Appledore Book Festival (Director, Nick Arnold) is the most successful ever with a host of top authors including Horrible Science illustrator Tony De Saulles and over 6000 visitors and 1000 children taking part in events at 14 schools.

October – Nick presents sell-out HORRIBLE SCIENCE BEST BITS SHOW at the Ropetackle Centre in Shoreham, Sussex.

November – Nick presents sell-out HORRIBLE SCIENCE BEST BITS SHOW at the Manchester Science Festival.
